Adventure Time!
I just did grown up things and booked a few hotels in Manhattan for Le Boyfriend and I to stay in when we go to New York in a few days. First on the list will be The Ace NY. Known for its AMAZING bar (the ultra-awesome hang out of many modern writers) and its decor, the Ace is located right on Broadway with beautiful views of the city from your room.
For the second half of our stay in New York, I booked the Captain’s Cabin at The Jane hotel in The Village. The Jane is kind of famous for being the place they put up Titanic survivors once they’d reached New York. It’s decorated like an old school luxury ocean liner and is pretty much amazing. Our room will have a view of the river and a terrace. Bam, said the lady.
(And thanks to my uncanny ability to find people who know people who know people, it’s gonna cost HALF of what we thought it would AND they upgraded our rooms at both hotels.)
