Were you really not pretty, or was it just yourself who though so in the way we all think? Because I think you are kind of stunning now and I cannot imagine you any other way..
I’m sure part of it was just the raging insecurity that most 14 year olds have, but yeah, I did not classify as “pretty” back then. I had crazy acne and poofy hair and was toothpick skinny and didn’t shave my legs. No boobies at all (didn’t get those until college). I think I am 13 in the picture (so the acne hadn’t quite hit yet), but as you can see, a bit of an awkward duck. It’s actually a pretty flattering picture for that particular time period.
